Numerical investigation on fluid dynamic characteristics around shoulder ventilation of submarine-launched vehicle

In order to study the influence of ventilating cavitation flow at shoulder a submerged-launched vehicle on surface hydrodynamic characteristics, three-dimensional potential model for ventilation was established based homogeneous multiphase theory, standard RNG k- ε model, Singhal and overlapping grid technology, numerical simulation unsteady evolution process ventilated carried out, morphology evolution, pressure distribution resistance characteristics under different rates were compared. The results showed that thickness length in early stage fusion continue increased with increasing volume, its changed slightly later stage; when exhaust position did not change volume within certain range, differential coefficient viscous decreased internal cavity.
